The Tortex Legacy: Precision & Durability
Since 1981, Jim Dunlop's Tortex picks have set the industry standard, evolving from a tortoiseshell replacement to an icon. Developed with Delrin and a special treatment process, they deliver a bright, snappy attack, superior memory, and unmatched durability. This unique formulation, still made in California, provides a matte surface for enhanced grip. Countless musicians across genres rely on Tortex for their consistent quality and performance, making them a trusted choice for guitarists worldwide.
Who Should Choose These Picks & Who Should Consider Alternatives
These 1.0mm Tortex Flex Triangle picks are ideal for guitarists who prefer a medium-heavy gauge for a balanced sound, enjoy a bright attack, and need a reliable grip. They are excellent for rock, blues, and country playing. Players seeking a very thin pick for fast, light strumming, or those who prefer a warmer, softer tone might consider lighter gauges or different materials like celluloid.
