This ELECOM DEFT trackball mouse is compatible with Windows 11, macOS 10.10 and later, and Windows 8/8.1/10. Ensure your computer runs one of these operating systems. The wired USB connection is standard and works with most PCs and Macs sold in India. Horizontal scrolling may not function on Windows RT8.1.

Is this trackball mouse good for gaming in India?

The ELECOM DEFT trackball features a high-performance gaming optics system sensor with switchable DPI up to 1500, offering precise control. While suitable for many gaming genres requiring accuracy, it may not be ideal for fast-paced, large-scale cursor movements typical in some competitive esports. It excels in strategy games or those needing precise targeting.

How do I clean the trackball for optimal performance?

Cleaning is simple: push the ball out from the bottom of the mouse through the hole. You can then wipe the ball and the internal bearings clean with a soft, dry cloth. Reinsert the ball to restore smooth tracking and maintain performance.

What are the benefits of using a trackball mouse over a standard mouse?

Trackball mice like the ELECOM DEFT reduce wrist and arm strain by keeping your hand stationary, promoting a more ergonomic posture. They offer precise cursor control with minimal desk space required, making them ideal for detailed work and users with limited desk space or physical limitations.

Does this trackball mouse require batteries or charging?

No, the ELECOM DEFT trackball mouse is a wired USB device. It draws power directly from your computer's USB port, so no batteries or charging are required for its operation. This ensures uninterrupted use and reliable connectivity.

Ideal for Productivity & Comfort

This trackball is best for users who spend extended periods at their computer and want to minimize wrist and arm fatigue.
