Extend Your DisplayPort Signal Up To 32 Feet
Cable Matters Active DisplayPort Repeater is your solution for extending DisplayPort connections up to 32 feet, supporting resolutions up to 8K@60Hz or 4K@240Hz. It ensures high-bandwidth transmission with DisplayPort 1.4 features like HBR3, 32.4 Gbps bandwidth, FEC, and 32 audio channels, backward compatible with DP 1.2. This plug-and-play device acts as a coupler, joining two cables seamlessly without signal degradation, making it a cost-effective alternative to expensive long cables.
This portable and lightweight DisplayPort amplifier is designed for ease of use, with clearly labeled INPUT and OUTPUT ports. It requires external power via the included 6 ft Micro-USB cable (USB wall charger sold separately). It's an ideal solution for connecting projectors to tablets or notebooks that have a weak DisplayPort signal output, ensuring vibrant video and authentic audio for your setup.
For Indian users, this repeater provides a reliable way to achieve longer DisplayPort runs, overcoming signal loss common with standard cables. Ensure your power adapter is compatible with Indian voltage (220-240V). All customs duties and GST are included in the price, with delivery via ExpressBox tracked shipping.
Superior Signal Extension for India
Cable Matters Active DisplayPort Repeater overcomes the limitations of standard DP cables, allowing you to connect devices over longer distances without signal degradation. It supports advanced DisplayPort 1.4 features, including high resolutions like 8K@60Hz and 4K@240Hz, and high-bandwidth HBR3. This ensures vibrant video and authentic audio, crucial for gaming, professional displays, or presentations. Unlike basic extenders, this active repeater amplifies the signal, providing a robust connection. It's a cost-effective alternative to purchasing extremely long, expensive DisplayPort cables, offering a practical solution for larger Indian homes or office spaces where standard cable lengths fall short.
Who It's For vs. Who Should Skip It
This repeater is perfect for users needing to extend DisplayPort connections beyond standard limits, such as gamers connecting to high-refresh-rate monitors, professionals setting up large displays or projectors, or users with VR headsets requiring a stable signal. It's ideal for those with weak DP signal outputs from laptops or tablets. Skip this if you only need a short, standard DisplayPort cable or if your devices use HDMI or USB-C exclusively. Also, ensure you have a compatible USB power source (220-240V for India) as it's required for optimal performance.
