Restore Disc Functionality to Any Laptop
The ROOFULL External CD DVD Drive provides essential disc reading and writing capabilities for modern laptops and desktops. With over 1.65 million units sold globally, this drive offers a proven, time-tested solution for playing movie DVDs, burning data to discs, converting audio files, and installing software. It supports common CD and DVD formats, excluding Blu-ray and 4K discs, ensuring broad usability for your media and data needs.
Featuring high-speed USB 3.0 and a versatile Type-C connector, this drive ensures fast data transfer up to 5 Gbps, with maximum read/write speeds of 8X for DVDs and 24X for CDs. Its plug-and-play design eliminates the need for complex driver installations; simply connect it to your computer's USB port. The drive is compatible with Windows, macOS, and Linux, working seamlessly with major brands like Apple, HP, Dell, and Lenovo. For desktop PCs, connecting to a rear motherboard USB port is recommended for stable power.
This compact and lightweight drive comes with a durable, protective carrying case, making it ideal for work, school, or travel. It's a practical addition for anyone needing to access older media formats or create physical backups. All customs duties and GST are included in the price, with tracked delivery via ExpressBox to your Indian pincode.
Reliable Disc Access for Modern Laptops
Many modern laptops lack built-in optical drives, leaving users unable to access CDs or DVDs. This ROOFULL external drive bridges that gap, offering plug-and-play functionality for playing movies, installing essential software, or backing up important files. Its USB 3.0 and Type-C compatibility ensures it works with a wide range of devices, from the latest MacBooks to older Windows PCs. With over 1.65 million units sold globally, it's a trusted choice for restoring disc functionality to your computer. All customs duties and GST are pre-paid, ensuring a transparent landed price in India.
Who It's For vs. Who Should Skip It
This drive is perfect for students, professionals, and media enthusiasts who need to read or burn standard CDs and DVDs on laptops or desktops without an internal drive. It's ideal for accessing older software, music CDs, or movie DVDs. However, it is NOT compatible with Blu-ray or 4K discs, nor will it work with smartphones, tablets, iPads, TVs, cars, projectors, or gaming consoles like PS4/5/Xbox. If your primary need is for high-definition Blu-ray playback or compatibility with mobile devices, consider a dedicated Blu-ray external drive or streaming solutions.
