• Ensure the wood is clean, dry, and free of dust, grease, or old finishes. For best results on existing surfaces, strip back to bare wood or test on an inconspicuous area. — Prepare the Surface
• Apply a liberal coat of HOPE'S Pure Tung Oil using a clean cloth, brush, or applicator. Ensure the entire surface is saturated and allow the oil to penetrate for 15-30 minutes. — Apply the Tung Oil
• Using a clean, lint-free cloth, wipe off ALL excess oil from the surface. This is crucial to prevent a sticky or gummy finish. The wood should feel dry to the touch after wiping. — Wipe Off Excess Oil
