• Clean and Dry the Wound — Gently cleanse the wound area with mild soap and water or an antiseptic wipe. Pat the skin dry thoroughly with a clean towel or gauze to ensure optimal adhesion of the strips.
• Apply Steri-Strips — Peel a Steri-Strip from its backing. Apply the strip across the wound, ensuring the edges of the skin are brought together evenly. Use multiple strips as needed, spaced appropriately for secure closure.
• Secure and Monitor — Press down firmly on the strip to ensure good adhesion. Monitor the wound for signs of infection or irritation. Change strips if they become loose, wet, or dirty, following medical advice.
