Why choose this product

Engineered for Compact Builds

The Thermalright AXP90 X36 is specifically designed for small form factor PCs, where space is a critical constraint. Its 36mm height allows it to fit into the tightest ITX cases, often clearing RAM slots and other motherboard components that would block larger coolers. The robust construction, featuring nickel-plated copper and AGHP heatpipes, ensures efficient heat dissipation up to 95W TDP, vital for maintaining performance in confined spaces. This cooler is imported from authorized US retailers, guaranteeing authenticity and quality for your high-performance compact system.

Who It's For & Who Should Skip

This cooler is perfect for builders of small form factor (SFF) and ITX PCs who need maximum cooling performance within a minimal height profile. It's ideal for users with Intel LGA1700/1200/115X or AMD AM4/AM5 CPUs who prioritize a quiet, efficient, and space-saving solution. Skip this cooler if you are building a standard ATX or larger case that can accommodate taller tower coolers or AIO liquid coolers, as those may offer higher TDP capacities or more advanced cooling solutions for extreme overclocking.

How to use

Prepare Mounting Hardware — Select the correct backplate and mounting brackets for your CPU socket (Intel or AMD) from the provided hardware. Ensure all screws and standoffs are correctly identified for your platform.
Apply Thermal Paste — Apply a small amount of the included TF7 thermal paste to the center of your CPU's integrated heat spreader (IHS). A pea-sized amount is usually sufficient for even coverage.
Mount the Cooler — Carefully align the cooler with the CPU and mounting brackets. Secure it evenly using the provided screws, tightening them in a cross pattern to ensure consistent pressure and optimal contact.
Connect Fan Header — Plug the TL-9015 fan's 4-pin PWM connector into the CPU_FAN header on your motherboard. This allows the motherboard to control fan speed automatically based on CPU temperature.
