Protect Your AM5 CPU Investment
The Thermalright ASF-Black AM5 CPU Holder is engineered to protect your AMD AM5 processor from bending. This corrective frame, made from anodized aluminum alloy, ensures even pressure distribution with a non-marking installation process. It features insulated protective feet to reduce capacitance and an antioxidant surface treatment for durability. Each pack includes two holders, an L-shaped screwdriver, and TF7 2g thermal paste with 12.8W/M.K thermal conductivity for enhanced cooling performance.
Designed specifically for AMD AM5 CPU sockets, including X670 and B650 series motherboards, this holder provides precise positioning. The insulated feet minimize contact capacitance, while the all-aluminum construction with rounded edges prevents scratches and supports the cooler's weight effectively. This ensures the CPU cover remains perfectly fitted and prevents bending, even with multiple installations.
Installation is straightforward with the included L-shaped screwdriver. Follow the manual or installation video for a one-step successful setup. The included TF7 thermal paste helps quickly enhance CPU cooling. All customs duties and GST are included in the price, with delivery to your Indian pincode via ExpressBox within 13-15 days.
Engineered for AM5 Stability
The Thermalright ASF-Black AM5 CPU Holder is specifically designed to combat the bending issues reported with AMD's AM5 socket. Its all-aluminum, anodized construction provides robust support, ensuring even pressure distribution and preventing damage to the CPU cover. Unlike generic solutions, its non-marking installation and insulated feet protect sensitive components, maintaining optimal contact and reducing capacitance. This precision engineering ensures your high-performance AM5 processor remains stable and protected, a critical factor for sustained gaming and demanding workloads in India's warm climate.
Who Should Buy & Who Should Skip
This holder is ideal for PC builders and upgraders using AMD AM5 processors (Ryzen 7000 series and newer) on X670, B650, or compatible motherboards. If you are installing a new AM5 CPU, upgrading your cooler, or concerned about CPU bending due to cooler pressure, this product offers essential protection. Skip this if you are using an Intel CPU or an older AMD socket (AM4 or earlier), as it is not compatible. Also, if your motherboard has significantly different mounting points or you are not installing a CPU cooler, this specific frame is unnecessary.
