This Renegade glove is designed for immediate use with its 90% factory break-in, meaning less time spent conditioning and more time playing. The leather palm offers a pro-feel and durability that stands up to regular play, ensuring it remains a reliable part of your game for seasons to come. Unlike some local options that may require extensive shaping, this glove is built for quick integration into your play.

Ideal for Developing Players

This glove is best suited for adult recreational players, youth players aged 6 and up, or anyone seeking a reliable, game-ready first base mitt. It’s perfect for those who want a glove that performs well without a lengthy break-in period. Players who prioritize immediate comfort and a secure pocket for scooping ground balls will find this model highly effective. Those seeking a highly specialized, pro-stock glove for elite competition might consider higher-tier models.

How to use

Inspect and Condition — Upon receiving your Rawlings Renegade glove, inspect it for any factory imperfections. Apply a small amount of leather conditioner to the palm and fingers to further enhance suppleness and prepare for play.
Shape the Pocket — Gently shape the pocket by hand, placing a baseball in the pocket and closing the glove around it. You can use a glove mallet or wrap the glove with a rubber band overnight to help maintain the desired shape.
Practice Fielding — Practice fielding ground balls and fly balls to get accustomed to the glove's feel and pocket. The 90% factory break-in means it will adapt quickly to your hand and playing style.

FAQ, See What Others Asked

How do I know which glove size to choose for an infielder?

Most adult infielders (second base, shortstop, and third base) utilize glove patterns ranging from 11.25 to 11.75 inches. Second basemen and shortstops generally favor 11.25 to 11.5-inch gloves with shallow pockets for swift double-play transfers, while third basemen often prefer 11.75-inch models for extra reach and pocket depth against hard-hit line drives. This 11.5" Rawlings Renegade glove is suitable for adult infielders.

What is the difference between Right Hand Throw and Left Hand Throw?

Glove orientation is designated by the hand used to throw the ball. A Right Hand Throw (RHT) glove fits on the left hand, allowing your dominant right hand to throw. A Left Hand Throw (LHT) glove fits on the right hand for players who throw with their left hand. This Rawlings Renegade glove is a Left Hand Throw model.

Is this Rawlings Renegade glove suitable for Indian playing conditions?

Yes, this Rawlings Renegade 11.5" first base glove is suitable for Indian playing conditions. While leather requires care in humid climates, its durable construction and game-ready feel make it a reliable choice for recreational play across India. Proper storage in a cool, dry place will maintain its quality.

How quickly will my Rawlings Renegade glove arrive in India?

Your Rawlings Renegade glove will arrive via ExpressBox tracked delivery. The estimated delivery window is 15-17 days, ensuring you receive your gear efficiently and can start playing soon.

What is the break-in process for this Rawlings Renegade glove?

This Rawlings Renegade glove features a 90% factory break-in, meaning it is nearly game-ready upon arrival. Only about 10% player break-in is required, making it easy to shape to your hand for a comfortable and secure fit without extensive conditioning.

How to buy an original Rawlings Renegade glove in India?
