LOONENG Ruling Pen for Masking Fluid, Fine Line Drawing, Technical Cartography & Calligraphy, 0.5mm (0.02 inch)

• ART RULING PEN DRAWING PAINTING TOOL — Ruling pens are traditionally designed instruments that lay down lines in ink, paint, or any fluid medium with the viscosity to flow. Excellent for creating precise lines and drawing with ink, drawing and masking fluids, or even thin paints.
• SELECT THE WIDTH WITH THE SCREW ADJUSTER — The two parts of the tip hold ink or with other drawing fluids between them by capillary action. By adjusting the screw on the side, you can carefully and very accurately adjust the width of the line you're creating. It is used to draw lines of precise thickness with paint or ink.
• INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE OF RULING PEN — Adjust to your chosen line width, dip the ruling pen in ink or masking fluid and draw onto the paper. It is possible to create very fine lines. If you use masking fluid, let it dry and paint your picture. Once your painting is dry, remove the masking fluid to reveal the unpainted areas.
• USED TO CREATE ACCURATE FINE LINES — Ruling pen is designed for fine line drawing, cartography, calligraphy, and technical drawings. It can also make fine lines and borders in Indian ink, gouache, drawing ink, watercolors, and masking fluids. In addition, it is used to draw lines of precise thickness with paint or ink.
• DURABLE STAINLESS STEEL CONSTRUCTION — The ruling pens are crafted in stainless steel with elastic properties, excellent strength, and durability. They do not rust, are easy to clean and provide lightness, flexibility, and accuracy in strokes. In addition, thick plastic handles and durable stainless steel nibs can withstand heavy use.

• Adjust Line Width — Carefully turn the screw on the side of the ruling pen to open or close the nibs, setting your desired line thickness. Test on scrap paper to confirm the width.
• Load with Fluid — Dip the tip of the ruling pen into your chosen fluid (ink, gouache, or masking fluid). Avoid overfilling; a small amount is sufficient for drawing.
• Draw Your Lines — Apply the pen to your paper, drawing smooth, consistent lines. For masking fluid, let it dry completely before painting over the masked areas.
• Clean and Store — Immediately after use, rinse the nib thoroughly with water or the appropriate solvent. Dry the pen and store it carefully to maintain its precision.
