• Assemble the Pen — Gently insert one of the Speedball C-Style nibs (C0-C5) into the penholder. Ensure it is securely attached to prevent it from detaching during use. Select a nib size appropriate for your desired line width.
• Ink the Nib — Dip the tip of the nib into your chosen calligraphy ink. Do not submerge the entire nib; just the tip is sufficient. The triple reservoir will hold a good amount of ink for extended writing.
• Practice Your Strokes — Begin practicing on suitable paper. Hold the pen at a consistent angle and apply gentle pressure. Experiment with upstrokes and downstrokes to create varied line thicknesses, essential for calligraphy and lettering.
• Clean and Store — After use, rinse the nib thoroughly with water to remove all ink residue. Dry the nib and penholder completely before storing them in a safe place to maintain their condition for future use.
