• Select Pen Nib and Holder — Choose a pen nib from the assortment (e.g., Crow Quill for fine lines, 512 for broader strokes) and securely insert it into one of the provided pen holders. Ensure the nib is firmly seated for stable drawing.
• Dip into Ink — Gently dip the nib into your chosen ink (water-based ink is included). Avoid submerging the entire nib; just the tip needs to be coated. Wipe off excess ink to prevent blobs.
• Draw and Letter — Apply light pressure to the nib against your paper to create lines. Vary pressure to achieve different line weights. For lettering and cross-hatching, use controlled strokes to build up tone and form.
• Clean and Store — After use, rinse the nib thoroughly with water and dry it completely to prevent rust and ink buildup. Store the nibs and holders in their original packaging to keep them protected and organized.
