Gator 9" x 11" Multi-Surface Sanding Sheets, 180 Grit, 25 Pack | Aluminum Oxide for Wood, Metal, Paint

• Great for general purpose sanding on a wide variety of materials including wood, paint, metal, fiberglass, and plastic
• Extra fine grits are best for final surface sanding and preparation before applying paint and stain, and light scuff sanding between coats of paint and varnish
• Sheets can be cut-to-fit 1/2 sheet, 1/3 sheet, or ¼ sheet sanders
• Resin bonding locks the grain to the paper for longer sanding life
• Heavy duty paper backing is durable enough for both hand and power sanding

• Select and Cut Sheet — Choose the appropriate grit for your task. If needed, cut the 9" x 11" sheet to fit your 1/4, 1/3, or 1/2 sheet sander, ensuring dust holes align with your tool's ports.
• Attach to Sander — Securely attach the sandpaper sheet to your sander's pad. Ensure it is flat and firmly in place to prevent tearing or uneven sanding during operation.
• Sand Surface — Apply light to moderate pressure and move the sander evenly across the surface. For best results, sand in the direction of the wood grain or across painted surfaces for scuffing.
• Clean and Inspect — After sanding, clean the surface to remove dust. Inspect the finish for desired smoothness before proceeding to the next step, such as applying paint or stain.
