How do I measure my window accurately for inside mount vs outside mount horizontal blinds?

For an inside mount, measure the exact interior width of the window casing at the top, middle, and bottom, using the narrowest measurement, while verifying the frame has at least 2 to 3 inches of depth. For an outside mount, measure the outer width and height of the window trim or opening and add 3 to 4 inches to each dimension to ensure complete light blockage and side privacy coverage.

Are cordless horizontal blinds easy to operate and safe for homes with children?

Yes, cordless horizontal blinds utilize internal spring or tension roller mechanisms that allow you to lift or lower the bottom rail smoothly by hand to any desired height without operating cords. Tilting the slats is handled separately via an attached tilt wand, eliminating accessible dangling pull strings to deliver reliable child and pet safety.

How to use Jlong Cordless No-Drill Paper Pleated Window Shades?

Wipe your window frame clean. Measure your window and cut the shade to the required size. Peel the double-sided tape from the back of the shade and firmly press it onto the window frame for installation. Use the included clips to adjust the height as needed.

These shades are perfect for renters, temporary housing, or anyone needing a quick, affordable window covering solution that requires no permanent installation. They are ideal for bedrooms, nurseries, kitchens, bathrooms, and home offices where privacy and light filtering are desired. If you need complete blackout capabilities or a highly durable, long-term window treatment, consider heavier materials like faux wood or aluminum blinds. For windows exposed to extreme weather or requiring heavy-duty insulation, these paper-based shades may not offer sufficient long-term performance.
