How do I measure my window accurately for inside mount vs outside mount horizontal blinds?

For an inside mount, measure the exact interior width of the window casing at the top, middle, and bottom, using the narrowest measurement, while verifying the frame has at least 2 to 3 inches of depth. For an outside mount, measure the outer width and height of the window trim or opening and add 3 to 4 inches to each dimension to ensure complete light blockage and side privacy coverage.

Are cordless horizontal blinds easy to operate and safe for homes with children?

Yes, cordless horizontal blinds utilize internal spring or tension roller mechanisms that allow you to lift or lower the bottom rail smoothly by hand to any desired height without operating cords. Tilting the slats is handled separately via an attached tilt wand, eliminating accessible dangling pull strings to deliver reliable child and pet safety.
