• Prepare the Pen — If using a cartridge, insert it firmly into the pen's ink connector until it clicks. If using the converter, screw it onto the pen's ink connector and submerge the nib in bottled ink, then twist the converter knob to draw ink into the reservoir.
• Prime the Nib — Gently wipe any excess ink from the nib with a soft cloth. If using a cartridge, ensure it's properly seated. If using bottled ink, ensure the converter is filled. The pen is now ready for writing.
• Write and Maintain — Write by applying light pressure. To maintain ink flow, store the pen nib-up when not in use. Clean the nib and converter periodically with water to prevent ink clogs, especially when changing ink colors.
