• Inspect and Flex — Upon arrival, inspect the glove for any shipping damage. Gently flex the pocket and finger stalls to get a feel for the glove's initial shape. The top-grain leather is designed to be soft, so it should already feel pliable.
• Personalize the Fit — Slide your hand into the glove, ensuring your fingers align with the stalls. Adjust the Quick Fit wrist closure to achieve a snug, secure fit that moves with your hand without being too tight. The glove should feel locked in.
• Practice Fielding — Begin practicing by catching balls with the glove. Focus on closing the glove around the ball in the pocket. Regular play, even just tossing a ball back and forth, will help the glove conform to your hand and develop a consistent pocket.
• Maintain Leather Condition — To maintain the leather's suppleness and prevent drying, especially in India's varied climate, apply a small amount of leather conditioner every few months. Store the glove in a cool, dry place, ideally with a baseball in the pocket to help maintain its shape.
