Vandoren V21 Bb Clarinet Reeds Strength 5 (10 Pack) | Conical Shape & V.12 Profile for Warm Tone

• The V21 reed combines the conical shape of a 56 rue Lepic reed with a V.12 profile.
• This unique combination makes all registers of the clarinet more accessible with warmth and a depth of sound. It will allow you to play with amazing presence and immediate response.
• V21 is the perfect reed for performances that require the ability to handle large interval leaps efficiently with an even rich tone.
• Every reed sealed in 'Flow Pack' to ensure freshness.

• Prepare the Reed — Gently remove one Vandoren V21 reed from its 'Flow Pack'. Moisten the reed tip by placing it on your mouthpiece or briefly in water for about 30 seconds to achieve optimal flexibility and sound.
• Attach to Mouthpiece — Place the moistened reed onto the flat surface of your Bb clarinet mouthpiece. Ensure the reed is properly aligned with the tip of the mouthpiece and secure it using your ligature.
• Play and Adjust — Begin playing your clarinet. Adjust the reed's position or ligature tightness slightly if needed to achieve the desired tone, response, and intonation. The V21 is designed for immediate response across all registers.
• Care and Storage — After playing, remove the reed, wipe it dry, and store it in a reed case, preferably with a humidity control system. This helps preserve the cane and prolong the reed's lifespan, especially in India's climate.
