Vandoren CR102 Bb Clarinet Traditional Reeds Strength 2 (10-Pack) | Professional Response & Flexibility

• Traditional reeds are known for their excellent response in all registers, allowing a pianissimo attack in even highest notes.
• Extremely flexible, allowing the legato or staccato execution of large intervals while maintaining a richness of tone that gives body and clarity to the sound, which is a hallmark of Vandoren reeds.
• Traditional reeds are available for all clarinets and saxophones in various strengths.
• Every reed sealed in 'Flow Pack' to ensure freshness.

• Select and Prepare Reed — Carefully remove one reed from the 'Flow Pack'. Moisten the reed tip in water or with a clarinet swab for 1-2 minutes to make it pliable and ready for optimal response.
• Attach Reed to Mouthpiece — Place the flat side of the reed against the flat side of your Bb clarinet mouthpiece. Secure it gently with the ligature, ensuring it is centered and not too tight, which can restrict vibration.
• Play and Adjust — Begin playing, checking for clear tone and response. Adjust the reed's position slightly if needed. If the sound is muffled or difficult to produce, the reed might be too hard or too soft for your current embouchure.
• Store Properly — After playing, remove the reed, wipe off excess moisture, and place it back in its original 'Flow Pack' or a dedicated reed case with humidity control. Store upright in a cool, dry place to prevent warping.
