• Ensure the coating is freshly applied and still wet. Select the TCP Global Wet Film Thickness Gauge Comb. Identify the scale ranging from 1 to 80 mils. — Prepare for Measurement
• Carefully press the notched side of the gauge perpendicular into the wet coating. Ensure the gauge is seated firmly on the substrate surface. — Apply the Gauge
• Remove the gauge. Observe the notches. The wet film thickness is indicated by the last tooth that is completely covered by the coating. The tooth just before it should be clean. — Read the Thickness
• Wipe the gauge clean with a solvent appropriate for the coating (e.g., thinner for paint) or a clean cloth immediately after use. Store in its protective packaging to maintain accuracy. — Clean and Store
