TCP Global Wet Film Thickness Gauge Comb, 1-80 Mil Scale, Pack of 3 | Measures Coating Thickness Accurately

• Wet Film Thickness Gauges Are Designed To Quickly and Easily Measure The Thickness of Coatings Immediately After They Have Been Applied To A Substrate
• These gauges are also commonly known as: Combs, MIL Gauges, Step Gauges and Notched Gauges
• The Gauges Incorporate A Series of Notches Cut Into Their Sides Much Like The Teeth On A Comb
• The Wet Film Thickness of Most Organic Coatings Including Paints, Resins, Lacquers, Varnishes, Gel Coat, Etc. May Be Measured
• The Thickness of Powder Type Coatings May Also Be Measured Before Curing.

• Apply Coating — Immediately after applying the paint, resin, or coating to the substrate, press the gauge comb into the wet film.
• Read the Scale — Observe the gauge. The highest tooth that is completely covered with coating indicates the wet film thickness. Refer to the 1-80 Mil scale for your reading.
• Verify Specification — Compare the measured thickness against your project's required specification (e.g., 50 Mil). Ensure the coating thickness is within the acceptable range for optimal performance and finish.
