Is this Everusely bento box leakproof enough for Indian gravies and curries?

Yes, the Everusely bento box features leakproof silicone lids and bands designed to keep food secure. While the compartments are not laser-welded for food safety, meaning liquids may flow between them, the main seal is effective for gravies and curries common in Indian meals. This ensures your lunch bag stays clean during transit.

Can I microwave and wash this bento box easily?

The bento box base is made of stainless steel and is therefore not microwave-safe. However, it is dishwasher safe for hassle-free cleanup. The silicone lid and band are also top-rack dishwasher safe. For reheating meals, transfer food to a microwave-safe dish.

How do I choose the right bento box for Indian meals?

When choosing a bento box for Indian meals, prioritize leakproof seals and durable materials like stainless steel. Look for sufficient capacity (around 800ml or more) and compartments that can hold gravies without mixing. The Everusely bento box offers these features, along with easy cleaning and portability.

What are the benefits of using a stainless steel bento box?

Stainless steel bento boxes are durable, resistant to rust and stains, and do not retain food odors like plastic containers. They are reusable, eco-friendly, and help with portion control. The Everusely model also includes a leakproof design and a separate condiment container for added convenience.

How to use the condiment container with the bento box?

The included 1.7 oz (0.05 L) condiment container is designed to fit within the bento box compartments or alongside them. It's food-grade and spillproof, perfect for holding dressings, sauces, or small snacks. Simply fill it, secure its lid, and place it in the bento box before sealing the main lid.

Is this bento box suitable for school children in India?

Yes, this bento box is suitable for school children, especially older ones. Its durable stainless steel construction can withstand daily use, and the leakproof design helps prevent spills. The 800ml capacity is adequate for a child's meal, and the separate compartments are great for packing a variety of foods.

Why choose this product

Built for Indian Lunches

This Everusely bento box is designed for the realities of packed lunches in India. Its robust 304 stainless steel construction means it withstands daily commutes and outdoor adventures without cracking or staining. The leakproof silicone seal and band are crucial for Indian meals, which often include gravies and curries that can easily spill in lesser containers. Unlike local plastic boxes that might retain food odors or degrade over time, this stainless steel option stays fresh and clean. The 800ml capacity with three compartments and a separate condiment container allows for balanced portioning, making it ideal for office lunches or school meals. All customs duties and GST are pre-paid, ensuring a transparent price upon delivery.

Who It's For vs. Who Should Skip It

This bento box is perfect for adults and older children who need a durable, leak-resistant container for packed meals, especially those including gravies or sauces. It's ideal for office workers, students, and anyone who enjoys bringing homemade meals on the go. If you require completely separate compartments for liquids, this model might not be the best fit as liquids can flow between sections due to the laser-weld-free design. Those seeking microwave-safe options should also look elsewhere, as this stainless steel box is not microwaveable. For very young children needing microwave convenience or absolute liquid separation, consider alternative options.

How to use

Prepare Your Meal — Wash and dry the bento box and condiment container. Prepare your desired meal components, such as cooked rice, curries, salads, or snacks, and place them into the respective compartments.
Secure the Lids — Place the condiment container into its designated spot or alongside other food. Ensure the lid for the main bento box and the lid for the condiment container are firmly sealed. Attach the silicone band around the entire box to provide extra security.
Transport and Enjoy — Place the secured bento box into your lunch bag. It is designed to be lightweight and portable for work, school, or picnics. Enjoy your fresh, well-portioned meal on the go.
Clean After Use — After enjoying your meal, wash the bento box and its components. They are dishwasher safe for convenient cleaning. Avoid microwaving the stainless steel base.
