Achieve Professional Stability Without The Weight
SmallRig 15mm carbon fiber rods, 30cm (12") long, are engineered for professional camera support systems. This pack includes two rods, each weighing a mere 37g, totaling only 74g for the pair. Their advanced carbon fiber construction provides exceptional rigidity and durability, significantly outperforming stainless steel rods in strength-to-weight ratio while remaining incredibly lightweight. The redesigned smooth surface ensures a secure fit with 15mm rod clamps, follow focus units, and matte boxes, enhancing the stability of your camera rig.
These rods are ideal for filmmakers and photographers who require robust yet portable equipment. The unidirectional fiber orientation along the longitudinal axis maximizes linear tensile strength and bending stiffness, crucial for maintaining steady shots during dynamic filming. Unlike metal alternatives, carbon fiber composites offer excellent resilience to India's humid climate and resist corrosion, ensuring long-term performance for your filmmaking gear.
Imported directly from authorized US retailers, these SmallRig rods ensure you receive authentic, high-quality components. All customs duties and GST are included in the listed price, with delivery via ExpressBox tracked shipping to your Indian pincode within 13-15 days. Experience professional-grade camera support that combines strength, lightness, and reliability for your creative projects.
Precision Engineering for Professional Rigs
SmallRig's 15mm carbon fiber rods are built for the demands of professional videography. Their superior strength-to-weight ratio means you get rock-solid camera stability without the bulk of traditional metal rods. This is crucial for handheld work or when building complex rigs where every gram counts. The smooth, non-shiny surface ensures accessories like rod clamps and matte boxes grip securely, preventing unwanted movement during critical shots. Unlike many local alternatives that may compromise on material quality or finish, these rods are sourced directly from authorized US channels, guaranteeing authenticity and performance.
Ideal for Rig Builders, Skip if...
These rods are perfect for camera operators, filmmakers, and hobbyists building custom 15mm camera support systems for DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, or cinema cameras. They are excellent for follow focus, matte box, and other rig accessories. Skip if you require rods with female threads, as these are solid rods. Also, if your project demands extreme flexibility or a specific metallic finish, these unidirectional carbon fiber rods might not be the best fit. For basic tripod mounting without a rig, simpler solutions may suffice.
