• Prepare the Surface — Ensure the surface (walls, trim, glass) is clean, dry, and free of dust or debris. For best adhesion and removal, the surface should be smooth or lightly textured. Avoid applying to freshly painted surfaces; wait until paint is dry to the touch.
• Apply the Tape Firmly — Apply the ScotchBlue Painter's Tape firmly along the edge you wish to mask. Press down along the entire length to ensure good adhesion and create a seal that prevents paint bleed. Let the tape set for 30 to 60 minutes before painting.
• Paint and Remove — Once the paint is dry to the touch, begin removing the tape. Lift the tape slowly and pull it back on itself at a 45-degree angle. This method ensures a clean removal without lifting paint or leaving residue behind.
