• Prepare the Surface — Ensure the surface (wall, trim, glass) is clean, dry, and free of dust or debris. For freshly painted surfaces, wait at least 30-60 minutes for the paint to dry to the touch before applying the tape.
• Apply the Tape — Firmly apply the ScotchBlue Original Painter's Tape along the edge you wish to mask. Press down the edges to create a good seal, preventing paint from seeping underneath. Ensure the tape is applied smoothly without wrinkles.
• Paint and Remove — Once the paint is dry to the touch, slowly lift the tape at a 45-degree angle. Pull it back on itself to ensure a clean, straight line and prevent paint chipping or residue. Avoid leaving the tape on for longer than 14 days.
