How do I properly install and use the SATECH sticky mats?

To install, peel the covering from the back opening, adhere the mat to a flat, clean, waterless floor, then remove the front covering. Each sheet is numbered 1-30 for easy replacement as layers become soiled, ensuring continuous cleanliness for your lab or cleanroom.

What is the difference between antistatic and ESD static shielding bags?

Antistatic bags prevent charge buildup on the bag itself, while ESD static shielding bags offer a Faraday cage effect to protect sensitive electronics from external electrostatic fields. This product is a sticky mat, not a bag.

Can I use these sticky mats in my home or for pets?

Yes, these sticky mats are suitable for home usage at entrances, garages, or areas where pets frequently stay to trap dirt and maintain cleanliness. They help prevent tracking dirt into your living spaces.

How should ESD grounding mats and wrist straps be connected to ground in a lab setup?

Grounding mats and wrist straps should be connected to a verified facility earth ground via a dedicated bonding plug or grounding block containing a built-in 1-megohm safety resistor. This product is a sticky mat, not a grounding component.

What are the benefits of using sticky mats in a cleanroom or laboratory?

Sticky mats significantly reduce particulate contamination by trapping dust and dirt at entrances and high-traffic areas. This helps maintain the critical cleanliness required for semiconductor manufacturing, research labs, and sterile environments.

How to choose the right sticky floor mat for my needs?

Consider the environment: for cleanrooms and labs, choose mats with high adhesive tack and multiple layers. For homes or garages, a mat that traps general dirt and pet hair is sufficient. This SATECH mat offers 30 layers of effective adhesive for demanding applications.

Are SATECH sticky mats suitable for Indian climate conditions?

Yes, these mats are designed to maintain their adhesive properties in various conditions. While extreme temperatures should be avoided during storage, their primary function of trapping contaminants is effective in typical Indian indoor environments, including air-conditioned spaces.

Why choose this product

Engineered for Critical Environments

SATECH sticky mats are engineered for environments where particulate control is paramount. Unlike generic floor coverings, these mats utilize a precisely formulated adhesive on a 30-layer polyethylene film. This ensures effective capture of fine dust and contaminants, crucial for semiconductor fabrication, aerospace, and pharmaceutical cleanrooms. The ISO standardized treatment guarantees consistent performance, making them a reliable choice for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness. Imported from authorized US retailers and authorized brand partners, these mats offer a level of quality and reliability often sought for critical applications.

Ideal for High-Traffic & Sensitive Areas

These mats are perfect for cleanrooms, laboratories, hospitals, and even homes with pets or high-traffic entrances. They effectively trap dirt and dust, preventing it from spreading. Consider these mats if you need to maintain a sterile environment for electronics assembly, medical procedures, or simply want to keep your home cleaner. Skip if you require a mat for heavy-duty industrial machinery or if you need a permanently installed flooring solution; these are designed for disposable, surface-level contamination control.

How to use

Prepare the Surface — Ensure the floor area where the mat will be placed is flat, clean, and completely dry. Remove any existing debris or moisture to guarantee optimal adhesion of the mat's backing.
Apply the Mat — Carefully peel back the covering layer from the adhesive surface on the back opening of the mat. Align and firmly press the mat onto the prepared floor surface to secure it.
Remove Front Covering — Once the mat is adhered to the floor, tear down and remove the covering layer from the front opening. The sticky surface is now exposed and ready to trap dust and contaminants.
Replace Soiled Sheets — When a sheet becomes visibly soiled or loses its tackiness, simply peel off the top layer. The numbered sheets (1-30) make it easy to identify and remove used layers, revealing a fresh sticky surface.
