• Pre-wash fabric to remove finishes. Weigh dry fabric to determine dye amount (1 packet dyes ~1 lb). Dissolve dye in 2 cups of hot water. For best results, use hot water (140°F/60°C) for dyeing. — Prepare Your Fabric and Dye
• In a washing machine, add dissolved dye, fabric, and 1 gallon of hot water. Run a full wash cycle (approx. 30 mins). For container dyeing, immerse fabric in dye bath and stir frequently for 30-60 minutes. — Dye the Fabric
• Remove fabric, rinse in cold water until water runs clear. For permanent color, wash in hot water with a color fixative or soda ash (sold separately). Then, wash and dry as usual. — Set the Color and Rinse
