• MULTIPLE BRISTLE TYPES—Bristle types vary based on the paintbrush set. Our Real Value collection is perfectly designed and features both natural and synthetic bristles.

• Prepare Brushes Before First Use — Gently rinse the new brushes in lukewarm water to remove any manufacturing residue. Soften the bristles by lightly flexing them with your fingers. Do not soak the ferrules.
• Load Brush with Paint — Dip the tip of the brush into your chosen paint (acrylic, watercolor, oil, or tempera). Load the brush with enough paint for your stroke, avoiding overloading the ferrule.
• Apply Paint to Surface — Use the brush to apply paint to your canvas or paper. Experiment with different brush shapes and pressures to achieve desired effects, from fine lines to broad strokes.
• Clean Brushes Immediately After Use — Rinse brushes thoroughly in water (or solvent for oils) until water runs clear. Gently remove excess paint and reshape bristles. Allow to dry flat or bristle-up, away from direct heat.
