• Prepare Brushes Before First Use — Gently rinse the bristles under lukewarm water to remove any manufacturing residue. Do not soak the handles, as this can damage the wood and ferrule glue. Pat dry with a soft cloth.
• Apply Paint with Desired Medium — Dip the bristles into your chosen paint (acrylic, watercolor, oil, tempera). Use the different brush shapes (round, flat, wash) for varied strokes, details, and coverage. Load paint onto the flagged bristles for optimal transfer.
• Clean Brushes Immediately After Use — For acrylic and watercolor, rinse thoroughly with soap and water until all paint is removed. For oil paints, use a brush cleaner or solvent, then wash with soap and water. Ensure bristles are completely clean.
• Dry and Store Properly — Gently reshape the bristles with your fingers. Store brushes bristle-up in a jar or container, or lay them flat. Avoid storing them bristle-down, as this can cause the bristles to bend and lose their shape.
