How do I know if two bevel gears will mesh properly?

To mesh correctly, both gears must share the exact same module (1M in this case) and pressure angle, and be designed for the same shaft intersection angle (90 degrees). These PGFUN gears have a 1:1 ratio and 20 teeth, ensuring they mesh precisely with identical gears.

What is the difference between straight and spiral bevel gears?

Straight bevel gears, like these PGFUN units, have straight teeth cut along the cone axis, suitable for moderate speeds and intermittent industrial drives. Spiral bevel gears feature curved teeth that engage gradually, offering quieter operation and higher torque transmission at higher RPMs.

Can I use these PGFUN gears for high-speed applications?

These gears are made from #45 steel and are suitable for moderate industrial speeds and mechanical transmission. For very high-speed or high-torque applications, consider specialized industrial-grade gears designed for such demands. Always ensure proper lubrication for optimal performance and longevity.

How to choose the correct bevel gear size for my machine?

Ensure the module (1M), number of teeth (20), shaft hole diameter (10mm), and shaft angle (90 degrees) match your machine's requirements. These PGFUN gears are specifically designed for these specifications. Always replace gears in sets for consistent performance.

Are these PGFUN gears suitable for use in India?

Yes, these PGFUN bevel gears are imported for India. All customs duties and GST are included in the price, and delivery is tracked via ExpressBox. They are suitable for various industrial applications across India, provided the specifications match your machinery's needs.

Why choose this product

Engineered for Precision Steering

These PGFUN bevel gears are engineered with a 1:1 ratio and 1 Module, featuring 20 teeth and a 10mm shaft hole for precise 90-degree power transmission. Crafted from #45 steel, they offer superior wear resistance and durability compared to many locally available gears. Their consistent specifications ensure smooth operation in demanding applications like CNC machinery and automotive systems, providing a reliable upgrade for your mechanical drives.

Who It's For vs. Who Should Skip

Ideal for engineers, mechanics, and hobbyists working with CNC machines, agricultural equipment, or automotive systems needing precise 90-degree steering. If you require gears for high-speed, high-torque applications beyond moderate industrial use, or need metric pitch sizes other than 1 Module, consider specialized industrial suppliers. Ensure your existing system uses 1 Module gears with 20 teeth and a 10mm shaft hole for direct compatibility.

How to use

Verify Compatibility — Confirm your machine requires 1 Module, 20 teeth, a 10mm shaft hole, and a 90-degree steering angle with a 1:1 ratio. Ensure the #45 steel material meets your application's load requirements.
Prepare for Installation — Clean the shaft and the gear's 10mm bore. If replacing existing gears, remove them carefully. Ensure you have the necessary tools, including an M5 screw for the fixing hole.
Mount the Gears — Slide the gears onto their respective shafts, ensuring proper alignment for the 90-degree angle. Secure each gear using an M5 screw through the side fixing hole. It is recommended to replace gears in sets for optimal performance.
