Reliable Entryway Alerts for Your Home
Upgrade your home's entryway with the Newhouse Hardware Electric 2-Tone Door Bell Chime Kit. This comprehensive wired system includes a classic 2-note chime, two lighted push buttons for nighttime visibility, and a 16V 10VA transformer. It's designed for standard wired doorbell setups, making it perfect for new installations or replacing outdated hardware. Note: The included transformer is US-spec (110-120V); an Indian 230V compatible transformer or adapter is essential for use in India.
The kit provides distinct "ding-dong" for the front door and a single "ding" for the back, ensuring you always know which entrance is being used. The lighted buttons add convenience and a modern touch, especially during evenings. While bell wire is sold separately, this kit provides all core components for a functional and reliable wired doorbell system.
For Indian homes, ensure you use a 230V compatible transformer. This kit offers a dependable solution for home security and convenience. All customs duties and GST are included in the price, with delivery via ExpressBox tracked shipping. 12-14 days
Dependable Wired Entryway Alerts
This Newhouse Hardware kit offers a robust wired doorbell solution, ensuring consistent alerts for your home. Unlike battery-powered wireless systems that can suffer from signal interference or battery drain, this wired setup provides reliable notification. The distinct two-tone chime for front and back doors offers clear identification of visitors. While the included transformer is US-spec, sourcing a 230V compatible unit for India ensures this system integrates seamlessly into your home, providing peace of mind and enhanced entryway security.
Who It's For vs. Who Should Skip
This kit is ideal for homeowners in India looking to install a new wired doorbell system or replace an existing one, especially if they have existing doorbell wiring. It's perfect for those who prefer the reliability of a wired connection over wireless options. However, if your home lacks existing doorbell wiring, a wireless doorbell kit would be a simpler installation. Also, ensure you have a 230V compatible transformer or adapter, as the included US-spec transformer will not work directly on Indian mains power.
