The Tortex Standard: Precision, Durability, and Grip
Jim Dunlop Tortex picks revolutionized the industry by replacing tortoiseshell with a superior Delrin material. This 0.60mm TIII model offers a bright, snappy attack and exceptional durability. The special matte treatment enhances grip, crucial for fast playing and in humid climates. Unlike generic picks, Tortex provides consistent gauge and tone, making it a trusted choice for guitarists worldwide. Imported directly from authorized US retailers, these picks ensure you receive the authentic product with all customs duties and GST prepaid.
Who Should Choose These Picks & Who Should Consider Alternatives
These 0.60mm Tortex TIII picks are ideal for guitarists who prefer a medium-stiff pick for lead playing, solos, and articulate strumming. They suit players seeking a bright attack and a reliable, grippy surface. Consider heavier gauges (e.g., 0.88mm or 1.0mm Tortex) if you primarily play heavy rhythm or need maximum pick attack. If you prefer a warmer, more flexible tone, explore celluloid or nylon picks instead.
