Jim Dunlop White Fang Hetfield Custom Flow Pick 1.14mm 6-Pack | USA Import for Precision Playing

Engineered for Peak Performance

James Hetfield collaborated with Dunlop to create picks that match his demanding style. These White Fang Custom Flow picks combine the best elements of existing designs: the shape of Flow picks and the grip of Black Fang picks. The 1.14mm gauge is heavier than standard Flow picks, offering more mass for a powerful attack while maintaining articulation. The custom grip pattern is specifically designed to prevent slippage, even during intense, sweaty performances. The blended beveled edge ensures a smooth glide across strings, and the sharp tip focuses the attack for maximum impact. This meticulous engineering ensures every note rings out clearly, enhancing speed and gain for aggressive riffing and fast lead playing. Unlike generic local picks, these are crafted with precision for professional-level performance.

Who It's For vs. Who Should Skip It

These picks are ideal for guitarists who play aggressive genres like metal, hard rock, or thrash, and require exceptional grip and precision. Players who prefer a heavier gauge (1.14mm) for a powerful attack and clear articulation will benefit most. If you often experience pick slippage during fast playing or heavy riffing, these are an excellent choice. However, players who prefer very thin or light picks (under 0.73mm) for extremely flexible strumming, or those who need a rounded tip for a warmer, softer attack, might find these too stiff or sharp. Also, if you are sensitive to textured grip patterns, consider a smoother pick.
