The Tortex® Legacy: Precision & Durability
Jim Dunlop's Tortex picks, first released in 1981, set a new industry standard. Developed from Delrin with a special treatment process, they offer a unique matte surface for superior grip and an aggressive attack. This 0.73mm gauge provides a balanced feel, combining the memory and durability of Tortex with the flexibility and warmth of nylon. Unlike generic picks that may vary in consistency, Tortex picks are manufactured to precise specifications, ensuring a reliable and repeatable playing experience for every guitarist. Imported from authorized US retailers and authorized brand partners, these picks are factory-sealed and ready for your performance.
Who Should Choose These Picks & Who Should Look Elsewhere
These Jim Dunlop Tortex Flex Triangle Picks are ideal for guitarists who prefer a medium-gauge pick (0.73mm) that offers both durability and a bright, snappy tone. They are excellent for players who strum chords, play lead guitar, or require a reliable pick for various genres. If you experience significant hand sweat during playing, the matte grip surface is a major advantage. However, if you exclusively play very fast, intricate lead lines requiring an extremely stiff pick, or prefer a warmer, softer tone typically found in thicker celluloid picks, you might explore heavier gauges or different materials.
