Achieve Unrivaled Color Brilliance
M. Graham Artist Oil Paint in Alizarin Crimson provides unparalleled clarity, depth, and richness. Each color is produced in small batches, ensuring vibrant hues free from extenders. Pigments are dispersed in pure, non-yellowing American walnut oil, resulting in extraordinary brilliance and tinting strength. This solvent-free formula offers a slow drying time and transparent finish, perfect for detailed artwork.
The high pigment load in M. Graham oil paints means colors remain naturally alive and brilliant, retaining their clarity without discoloration. The use of walnut oil allows for increased pigment concentration, leading to exceptional color saturation and permanence. This paint is intermixable with all other oil paints, varnishes, and mediums, including alkyd resin products, offering great versatility for artists.
For Indian artists, M. Graham offers a premium, USA-sourced oil paint experience. While local brands offer basic art supplies, M. Graham provides professional-grade quality with superior pigment concentration and a unique walnut oil binder. All customs duties and GST are included in the price, with delivery via ExpressBox tracked shipping.
The M. Graham Difference: Artist-Grade Quality
M. Graham Artist Oil Paints are meticulously crafted in small batches, prioritizing pigment purity and brilliance. Unlike many mass-produced paints, M. Graham uses pure American walnut oil as a binder, allowing for significantly higher pigment loads. This results in colors with unparalleled richness, saturation, and tinting strength that remain true over time. The solvent-free formulation ensures a safer working environment. For Indian artists seeking professional-grade materials, M. Graham offers a distinct advantage in color quality and permanence, directly imported for your creative projects.
Who It's For vs. Who Should Skip It
This paint is ideal for professional artists, serious hobbyists, and art students who demand high pigment concentration, vibrant color, and excellent permanence in their oil paintings. It's perfect for detailed work, glazing, and achieving rich, luminous hues. Skip this if you require fast-drying paints, as oil paints naturally have a slow drying time. Also, if you are sensitive to oil-based mediums or prefer water-soluble paints, consider acrylics or watercolors instead. This specific shade is transparent, so it may not be suitable for opaque applications without mixing.
