Specialized Down Cleaning Science
GEAR AID Revivex Down Cleaner is engineered for the specific needs of down insulation, a stark contrast to generic laundry detergents. Its mild, concentrated formula is free from harsh chemicals like perfumes, softeners, and optical brighteners that can strip down of its natural oils, compromising loft and warmth. This specialized approach ensures that your technical outerwear and sleeping bags retain their insulating properties and performance, even after multiple washes. It's designed to work effectively on both down fill and waterproof-breathable shell fabrics, preparing them for re-treatment with water repellents. This focus on preserving the integrity of down makes it a superior choice for maintaining the longevity and effectiveness of your high-performance gear.
Who It's For & Who Should Skip It
This cleaner is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts, campers, hikers, and anyone who owns down-filled jackets, vests, sleeping bags, pillows, comforters, or duvets and wants to maintain their loft and warmth. It's perfect for those who need to wash technical fabrics and treated down safely. Skip this product if you are looking for a general-purpose laundry detergent for everyday clothing, as its specialized formula is optimized for down.
