GEAR AID's Aquaseal FD adhesive is a flexible urethane formula specifically designed for high-performance outdoor gear. Unlike generic glues, it maintains flexibility and waterproof integrity even under extreme temperatures, UV exposure, and constant flexing. This ensures your repairs on fishing waders, drysuits, and tents withstand the rigors of outdoor use in India's varied climates, from humid coasts to arid plains. Sourced directly from authorized US retailers, this kit guarantees the authentic formulation for reliable, long-lasting gear restoration.

Who It's For vs. Who Should Skip It

This kit is perfect for anglers, hikers, campers, and outdoor enthusiasts who need reliable, waterproof repairs for their gear. It’s ideal for fixing neoprene, GORE-TEX, nylon, and vinyl materials on waders, wetsuits, drysuits, tents, and inflatables. Those seeking a quick, permanent solution for tears and leaks will find it invaluable. Skip if you need a temporary fix or are repairing materials not listed, as the specialized urethane adhesive requires specific surface adhesion for optimal performance.

How to use

Prepare the Damaged Area — Clean and thoroughly dry the area around the rip or hole. Remove any dirt, grease, or old adhesive. For best results, ensure the fabric is completely free of moisture and debris.
Apply Adhesive and Patch — Apply a thin, even layer of Aquaseal FD adhesive over the damaged area. Immediately place a Tenacious Tape patch over the adhesive, ensuring it covers the entire area and extends slightly beyond the edges.
Cure the Repair — Allow the repaired area to cure for 2 to 6 hours. For a fully waterproof seal, it's recommended to let it cure for at least 12 hours before exposing the gear to water or extreme conditions.
