Fotasy OM to Canon EF/EF-S adapter enables Olympus OM mount classic lenses to be used on Canon EOS EF/EF-S mount DSLR cameras. This adapter is crafted from solid, durable copper for longevity and guarantees infinity focus. It is designed for manual operation, meaning exposure and focus must be adjusted manually as there are no electrical contacts for automatic diaphragm, autofocus, or other camera functions.
This adapter is compatible with a wide range of Canon DSLR models, including the 6D, 5D Mark IV/III/II, 1D Series, 7D Mark II/7D, 90D, 80D, 77D, 70D, 60D, 50D, 40D, and various Rebel series cameras like the T6s, T6i, T6, T5i, T5, T4i, T4, T3i, T3, T2i, T2, and SL1. It ensures your vintage Olympus OM lenses can be repurposed for modern Canon EF-mount bodies, expanding your creative possibilities.
For Indian photographers, this adapter offers a cost-effective way to utilize existing Olympus OM lenses with Canon DSLRs. It requires manual control, which can enhance photographic technique and creative output. All customs duties and GST are included in the price, with delivery via ExpressBox for reliable tracking across India.
Unlock Vintage Lens Potential
Fotasy's OM to Canon EF/EF-S adapter bridges the gap between your classic Olympus OM lenses and modern Canon EOS DSLRs. This adapter is precision-engineered from solid copper, guaranteeing durability and infinity focus. It bypasses electronic communication, requiring manual control over exposure and focus. This manual approach fosters a deeper understanding of photography fundamentals and allows for more deliberate creative choices. For Indian photographers, it's an economical way to access a wider range of optical options, transforming existing gear into versatile tools for stunning imagery.
Ideal for Manual Focus Enthusiasts
This adapter is perfect for photographers who appreciate the tactile control and deliberate process of manual focus and exposure. It's ideal for those looking to adapt vintage Olympus OM lenses for use on Canon EF/EF-S DSLRs, including models like the 5D Mark IV, 7D Mark II, and 90D. Users who prioritize image quality from specific vintage lenses over automated functions will find this adapter invaluable. However, if you rely heavily on autofocus and automatic exposure modes, or require electronic communication for lens functions, this manual adapter may not be the best fit for your workflow.
