Achieve Professional Bongo Tones
Evans Tri-Center Bongo drum heads, a 2-pack featuring 7 1/4" and 8 5/8" sizes, are engineered in the USA for superior bongo performance. These heads utilize a 10mil ply, a 14mil ply, and a 2.25" Tri-Center patch to eliminate unwanted overtones and enhance the fundamental tone, ensuring clean pitches and a responsive feel. Imported for Indian musicians, they offer a distinct advantage over local alternatives.
The unique Tri-Center design adds weight to the center, focusing the sound and providing a bright, penetrating slap tone complemented by a full, round low-end. The etched texture on the surface simulates the feel of natural animal skin, offering a familiar tactile experience without the instability and maintenance issues associated with natural heads. This construction ensures consistent performance across varying Indian climates.
Experience the clarity and responsiveness of USA-engineered drumheads. All customs duties and GST are included in your price, with delivery via ExpressBox tracked shipping. Enjoy authentic imported quality for your musical journey.
Precision Tone Control for Bongos
Evans Tri-Center Bongo heads are specifically engineered to address the unique tonal challenges of bongos. The innovative Tri-Center patch actively eliminates overtones and reinforces the center, producing a clear, fundamental tone that cuts through the mix. This precision is crucial for drummers seeking a professional sound. Unlike generic heads, these offer a controlled, consistent pitch that remains stable even in India's humid conditions, ensuring your instrument sounds its best during performances and practice sessions.
Ideal for Studio & Live Performance
These heads are perfect for drummers who need a bright, penetrating slap tone with a solid low-end. The 2-ply construction offers enhanced durability for demanding live gigs and studio sessions. The etched texture provides a feel similar to natural skin, but with superior stability and consistency, making them a practical choice for musicians in India. While they offer excellent projection, consider a coated single-ply head if you prefer a warmer, more dampened sound with less attack.
Typical situations where Evans Tri-Center Bongo Drum Head Pack helps — illustrative scenarios, not customer reviews.
A percussionist in Mumbai needs bongo heads that maintain pitch during humid monsoon season.
These Evans heads use stable synthetic film, engineered to resist humidity changes. The Tri-Center patch ensures consistent fundamental tone, preventing pitch drift common with natural skin heads in high-moisture environments.
A studio drummer in Delhi seeks bongo heads for clear, defined tones that cut through a mix without excessive ring.
The 2-ply construction and Tri-Center patch on these Evans heads minimize overtones, delivering a bright slap tone with a full low-end. This provides the clarity needed for studio recordings and live performances, ensuring a professional sound.
