It's excellent for color sanding automotive paint finishes before polishing or for extra fine finish sanding on wood, coatings, stone and other surfaces before polishing. Great for headlight polishing.
• High-performance waterproof sandpaper discs that are made with premium electro-coated silicon carbide which ensures that the grit is uniformly distributed, and this enables you to have fast even long-lasting cutting when sanding either wet or dry.
• These discs are ideal for wet sanding, as wet sanding helps minimize scratches, prevents sandpaper from clogging with dust, removes loose abrasive particles, and reduces airborne dust.
• Unique wet or dry sanding discs that have a hook and loop attachment design for easily attaching them to dual-action orbital sanders. Use discs for automotive, industrial, woodworking, metalworking, fiberglass, and plastics or any other surface that needs sanding.
• Dura-Gold offers a complete vast product line of professional, high-quality sandpaper types that provide exceptional sanding performance, so you can get the job done fast, saving you time and money!

• Prepare Your Sander — Ensure your dual-action orbital sander has a clean, compatible hook & loop backing pad. If wet sanding, prepare a light stream of water or a suitable sanding lubricant.
• Attach the Disc — Align the disc's hook & loop backing with your sander's pad and press firmly to secure. Ensure it is centered and attached evenly for optimal performance and to prevent wobbling.
• Sand the Surface — Apply light to moderate pressure and move the sander in a consistent pattern (e.g., overlapping strokes). For wet sanding, keep the surface and disc moist. Avoid excessive pressure, which can clog the disc.
• Clean and Inspect — Periodically check the disc for clogging and clean it by rinsing under water or using a disc cleaner. Inspect the surface for the desired smoothness and continue sanding as needed, replacing the disc if it becomes worn or clogged.
