• Box of 20 Dura-Gold Premium 6" Wet or Dry 1000 Grit Sanding Discs with a Hook & Loop Backing. This 1000 grit sandpaper is ideal for wet or dry extra fine color sanding on all types of surfaces. It's excellent for color sanding automotive paint finishes before polishing or for extra fine finish sanding on wood, coatings, stone and other surfaces before polishing.
• High-performance waterproof sandpaper discs that are made with premium electro-coated silicon carbide which ensures that the grit is uniformly distributed, and this enables you to have fast even long-lasting cutting when sanding either wet or dry.
• These discs are ideal for wet sanding, as wet sanding helps minimize scratches, prevents sandpaper from clogging with dust, removes loose abrasive particles, and reduces airborne dust.
• Unique wet or dry sanding discs that have a hook and loop attachment design for easily attaching them to dual-action orbital sanders. Use discs for automotive, industrial, woodworking, metalworking, fiberglass, and plastics or any other surface that needs sanding.
• Dura-Gold offers a complete vast product line of professional, high-quality sandpaper types that provide exceptional sanding performance, so you can get the job done fast, saving you time and money!

• Attach Disc to Sander — Select a 6-inch dual-action orbital sander with a hook & loop backing pad. Align the disc's hook & loop side with the pad and press firmly to ensure a secure attachment. Check that the dust extraction holes on the disc align with your sander's ports.
• Prepare for Sanding — For wet sanding, lightly dampen the disc and the surface with water or a suitable lubricant. For dry sanding, ensure your sander's dust collection system is connected and functioning. Wear safety glasses and a dust mask.
• Perform Sanding — Apply moderate, even pressure to the sander. Move the sander in a consistent pattern, overlapping strokes. For wet sanding, rinse the disc and surface periodically to remove dust and debris. For dry sanding, empty the dust collector as needed.
• Inspect and Clean — Periodically check the surface for the desired smoothness. Once sanding is complete, detach the disc, clean the sander's backing pad, and wipe down the workpiece. Store discs in a dry place.
