• Water-Based & Made in the USA: All DecoArt craft paints are water based, easy to clean up with soap and water, and proudly made in the USA — trusted by artists, teachers, and DIYers worldwide.

• Prepare Your Surface — Ensure your surface (canvas, wood, paper) is clean, dry, and free from dust or grease. For wood or porous surfaces, a primer or sealant may enhance adhesion and color vibrancy.
• Apply the Paint — Use a brush, sponge, or dry brush technique to apply the metallic acrylic paint. Apply thin, even coats, allowing each layer to dry slightly before adding subsequent coats for optimal coverage and depth.
• Layer and Blend — These paints blend beautifully while wet and can be layered once dry. Experiment with sponging or dry-brushing techniques to create unique textures and effects. For added gloss and protection, consider using DecoArt sealers after the paint is fully cured.
• Clean Up — Clean brushes, palettes, and tools immediately after use with soap and water. Dried paint can be difficult to remove, so prompt cleaning is essential for maintaining your art supplies.
