• Prepare Your Surface — Ensure the surface (fabric, leather, canvas, wood, paper) is clean, dry, and free from dust or oils. For fabric, pre-wash to remove any sizing agents. Lightly sand wood for better adhesion if needed.
• Apply the Paint — Stir the paint gently to mix the mica powder without creating excessive bubbles. Apply with a brush, airbrush, sponge, or stencil. For opaque coverage, apply a thin, even coat and allow it to dry before adding a second coat if necessary.
• Cure and Set — Allow the paint to air dry completely, typically within 15-30 minutes for thin coats. For maximum durability on fabric and leather, heat-set the paint by ironing on a low setting (no steam) for 3-5 minutes once fully dry.
• Care and Maintenance — Once cured and heat-set, the paint is washable. For best results, wait 72 hours after application before washing. Hand wash or machine wash on a gentle cycle with cold water and mild detergent. Avoid harsh chemicals or prolonged soaking.
