• Carefully remove the old strings one by one from your bass guitar. Loosen each string until it is slack, then unwind it from the tuning post and bridge. — Remove Old Strings
• Thread the new string through the bridge (or body for thru-body basses). Feed the ball end into the bridge slot. Pull the string taut towards the tuning post. — Install New Strings
