• HALF ROUNDS - Half Rounds are a nice medium between round and flat wound strings, providing benefits of both.
• REDUCED FINGER NOISE - Stainless steel wrap wire is finished with a centerless grinding process to provide a smooth feel, reduced finger noise, and tone comparable to round wound strings.
• HEX-CORE - Like all D’Addario electric guitar strings, XL Half Rounds are made with our proprietary Hex-Core, ensuring perfect intonation, consistent feel, and reliable durability.
• EARN REWARD POINTS - XL Half Rounds sets have a code on the recyclable VCI bag, which you can register to earn Players Circle points.
• MADE IN THE USA – D’Addario electric guitar strings are made in the USA—drawn to our exacting specifications at our New York production facility.

• Remove Old Strings — Carefully remove the old strings from your electric guitar one by one. Loosen each string until it is slack, then unwind it from the tuning post and bridge.
• Install New Strings — Thread the new D'Addario XL Half Rounds through the bridge and body. Feed the ball end into the bridge slot, then thread the string through the tailpiece or body. Pull the string taut towards the tuning post.
• Tune and Stretch — Wind the string around the tuning post, ensuring it wraps neatly. Tune the string to pitch. Gently stretch each new string by pulling it away from the fretboard and retuning. Repeat until the strings hold pitch.
• Trim Excess String — Once tuned and stretched, trim any excess string length from the tuning post to prevent interference. Ensure all strings are securely installed before playing.
