Formulation & Surface Chemistry
Centurion's exclusive OP enhanced oil priming chemically bonds with oil paints, offering superior color retention and a non-absorbent, permanent surface. This outperforms universal or gesso primed panels, especially for high-quality oil colors used by professionals.
Who It’s For & Who Should Skip
Ideal for professional oil painters, art students, and traveling artists seeking durable, archival surfaces. Skip if you prefer pre-gessoed or absorbent surfaces for mixed media or acrylic work, or if working on very humid environments without proper storage.
