The durable, warp-resistant MDF core ensures this painting board stays flat under heavy paint application, palette-knife work, and mixed-media layering. Unlike stretched canvas or unprimed wood panels, it offers a stable, rigid surface without texture, weave, or sagging. This makes it ideal for artists seeking consistent performance and a smooth surface for detailed work. Reviewers praise its ability to handle heavy paint loads and mixed media without warping.
For artists in India, this panel offers a reliable alternative to local canvas boards or unprepared wood surfaces. Its smooth, primed finish ensures paint glides evenly, and colors appear brighter. The 8x10 inch size with 1/8 inch depth is perfect for detailed studies, plein air work, or studio pieces. All customs duties and GST are pre-paid, ensuring a transparent price with no hidden charges upon delivery.

Ideal For Artists Seeking Smoothness & Rigidity
This panel is perfect for artists who prefer a smooth, rigid surface over canvas texture for detailed work, bright colors, or clean pours. It's excellent for portraiture, plein air painting, and mixed media. However, artists who specifically desire the texture of canvas weave or a flexible surface might find this panel too rigid. If you prefer a more absorbent ground or a panel with a built-in frame for hanging, consider Ampersand's cradled or thicker flat panels.
