Achieve Brilliant Prints with Artist-Grade Ink
Akua Intaglio Water-Based Ink in Red Oxide provides artists with vibrant color and intense blacks for various printmaking techniques. This 240ml (8.1 fl oz) jar is specifically formulated to dry through absorption, meaning it will not dry on the printmaking plate, allowing for extended working time. Imported directly from authorized US retailers and partners, this ink is AP certified non-toxic and cleans up easily with soap and water, making it a convenient choice for your studio.
This ink is ideal for Intaglio/Etching, Monotype, Gel Printing, and Collagraph printmaking. It can be used with Akua Liquid Pigment and select Akua Modifiers to achieve desired effects. The water-based formulation ensures easy cleanup, a significant advantage over solvent-based inks, especially in humid Indian climates where faster drying can be problematic. Reviewers appreciate its consistent performance and brilliant color payoff.
CrowCrowCrow ensures you receive 100% original Akua products, with all customs duties and GST pre-paid. Your order is shipped via ExpressBox tracked delivery, providing transparency from USA to your Indian doorstep. Experience the quality of artist-grade inks without the hassle of import complexities.
Artist-Developed Formulation for Superior Prints
Developed by printmakers for printmakers, Akua Intaglio Inks offer unmatched working properties. The water-based formula provides brilliant colors and intense blacks, drying through absorption to prevent premature plate drying. This ensures a longer working time and cleaner prints, a significant advantage over some local alternatives that may dry too quickly or require harsh solvents for cleanup. Imported directly from authorized US retailers, you receive a factory-sealed product with all customs duties and GST included.
Ideal for Diverse Printmaking Techniques
This ink is perfect for Intaglio/Etching, Monotype, Gel Printing, and Collagraph printmaking. It's designed to work seamlessly with Akua Liquid Pigment and Modifiers for custom effects. While excellent for these techniques, it is not intended for use on skin or as a cosmetic. If you require inks for fabric printing or specific industrial applications, consult product specifications for those specialized lines.
