• Prepare Your Jar — Fill your regular mouth mason jar (70mm) with your chosen liquid culture medium. Ensure the jar rim is clean and dry before placing the Biomed Solutions lid on top.
• Sterilize the Lid — The lids are autoclavable. For pressure cooking, leave the lid a quarter turn loose to allow air to escape. For microwave or autoclave sterilization, follow standard procedures for your equipment.
• Inoculate Sterilely — Once the jar and lid are cooled and sterile, use a sterile syringe to inject your mushroom culture through the self-healing injection port. The PTFE filter ensures clean air exchange.
• Incubate and Grow — Place the inoculated jar in a suitable incubation environment. The lid will maintain sterile conditions, allowing your liquid culture to grow effectively without contamination.
