Secure Your Ascent with a Professional Grade Descender
The AOKWIT 50KN Rescue Figure 8 Descender, crafted from durable 7075 aircraft-grade aluminum alloy, is designed for critical safety in climbing and rescue operations. Its robust construction and 50KN (11,000 lbs) breaking strength ensure reliable performance. The bent-ear design is a key advantage, allowing for increased friction and slower descent speeds by wrapping the rope around the ears, and also facilitates easier lock-off for hands-free suspension during work or scenic appreciation.
This versatile device is suitable for a wide range of applications including mountain climbing, rock climbing, ice climbing, fire rescue, working at height, technical rope rescue, caving, and aerial silk. The thick body design minimizes rope abrasion, extending the life of your climbing ropes. Its large slot accommodates doubling or tripling single ropes for enhanced friction during slow descents, making it a dependable tool for both recreational and professional use.
Imported for Indian adventurers, this black figure 8 descender provides a secure and controlled rappelling experience. All customs duties and GST are included in the listed price, with delivery via ExpressBox tracked shipping. Practice in low areas before using for mid or high-level work to ensure complete familiarity and safety.
Engineered for Critical Safety
This AOKWIT figure 8 descender is built with 7075 aircraft-grade aluminum alloy, boasting a 50KN breaking strength. Its bent-ear design enhances friction for controlled rappels and allows for secure lock-off, making it a trusted tool for climbers and rescue professionals. Unlike basic models, the bent ears provide an added layer of safety and versatility for aerial work and extended suspensions.
Ideal for Adventurers, Not for Casual Use
This device is perfect for experienced climbers, cavers, rescue personnel, and aerial silk performers who require high-strength, reliable gear. However, it is not recommended for beginners without proper training or for casual use where a simpler device might suffice. If you are new to climbing or rappelling, seek professional instruction before using this equipment.
